Hi there,
Unfortunately I had installed the Note 7 Official updates on my Rogers Canada Note7 N930W8 model which restricts the battery to charge only upto 15% as well as bluetooth and wifi have also been disabled. Please help me if there's any way bring my phone back to 100% charging and fix all other issues. I have been searching solutions on google for 2 days but still no success, but after reading posts and the solutions provided on this site I'm there'll be solution to my problem as well.
Thank you very much,
hussey05

We are still on research to fix this. With the 15% limit canadian is blocked to downgrade so far, so we're looking for someone who has the 60% canadian firmware files availabe to check if the 15% can be rolled back to 60% and then 100.as mentioned here:

I have tried every stock firmware...odin says param.bin failed...turned off firewall...virusscanner....other usb port...other usb cables...nothing seems to work. I hope to find a solution here. thx

Hello, I got my hands on a new second gen note 7 (green battery presumed). I haven't turned it on yet as I want to ensure I disable the proper apps. Could anyone direct me to the proper steps to start from a brand new phone.

Follow the steps here to get protected by shield v2:

This will block the bricking updates.

Shield v2 hasn't anything to do with root.

It protects Note 7 from installing the kill update. No root needed to do this.

I'm not certain about this, but I believe the V3APL1 firmware and December kernel combo do not allow rolling back updates. I've had no luck on my original Rogers Note 7 in changing the firmware - tried Odin, ADB, TWRP, among other strategies. I'm now seeing what I can do with flashing an older kernel. I'll let you know if/when I have success in getting my phone operational again.
