I have samsung s8 plus and i noticed there is a feature to be turned on called secure charging. There is no info on the app so i am asking here what is it do ?

By the way i have given a lot of permission including deleting all data without asking me.Are all of them really necessary ?

Secure charging prevents you from data leaks while charging in unsafe public places. It does this by blocking any data communication via USB if activated.

The wide permissions just come with setting the app as device owner, which is necessary for the functionality to disable apps.

Thank you for the answers.I am confused because for other package disabling apps only uninstalling/disabling apps permission is enough but since it passes samsung knox without problem it should be safe right ?

Don't mix different measures. Samsung knox is used in our app for functions like the firewall. But Samsungs knox license terms do not allow the use of knox to disable apps. That's why device owner (which is a native android function and has nothing to do with knox) has to be used for disabling features. And other package disabling apps using knox violate Samsungs license terms, so the knox license of them will be revoked over and over...
