Did you already try to check all 4 parts of the firmware? On your picture you just checked one.moo wrote:7596 Hubby kept trying and something went very wrong. Note 7 will not turn on at all..
Thank you for trying to help i guess I am done
We have reports from others that had success of rolling back the t-mobile update, while no solution at this time for at&t for example.

Try this here:moo wrote:7805 Tried both the options still have a black screen.. sorry I feel like a pest.
Have you ever had someone else brick it during the odin process?
When Galaxy N7 is powered off
1. hold volume up button;
2. without releasing volume up button, hold Home button. Now you should hold two buttons.
3. without releasing the two buttons, hold Power button. Now you should hold three buttons.
It should take less than 3 seconds for the screen to light up.
After the screen lights up, you may hold the three buttons for another 2-3 seconds. Then release all three buttons.
Before you reach the Galaxy N7 recovery menu, the phone screen may show “applying updates….” and a splash of a dead Android.
You just wait a few seconds, and eventually, the phone will reboot into Galaxy N7 recovery mode with the following recovery menu screen.
If this does not work then maybe the battery is empty. Try doing the above while being connected to your pc with original N7 usb cable.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Tried that and also a few other button combinations I found on Internet from the link @catwoman left and no power even when connected to charging cable. Hubby says he was in odin when the screen went black and would no longer power up. He was looking at options menu. Battery was at 56%

You really can brick the device, tampering in ODIN with the "wrong" checkboxes, esp. in options area, while not exactly knowing what you do.moo wrote:7830 Tried that and also a few other button combinations I found on Internet from the link @catwoman left and no power even when connected to charging cable. Will not mention them, just to prevent others from "exploring" this powerful tool.
It's possible that you're stuck so far, so it's time to visit a professional repair shop, if you find one handling the note 7.
With the presense of device, and the correct tools, hardware and knowledge maybe there's hope.
