Hmm. Just did it successfully on another note 7 with com 4. Dont think the com 4 makes the difference. The one that was successful didnt have the new update on it. The one that failed had the new "No charge" update on it. Hope this helps in your solution to the problem

I followed the video and when my phone rebooted it asked me to pick a wi-fi and would not allow me to go past this option without choosing a wi-fi. I have AT&T. What can I do to fix this. I switched to my Samsung Galaxy 5 on the 4th and my Note 7 was still working but only at a 60% battery capacity. I went into A%&T and asked them to activate my Note 7 and she did. It is still working, but I loaded a BK Package Blocker and XML. I need more protection.

Can't believe that it's not possible to skip the wifi assignment. But if it would be really this way, you can pull the plug connecting your wifi router to the line/internet at home, so you'd have connected to your wifi but still no internet connection.
If you are at 60% update level, you can revert this like described here:

Only the 0% cannot be downgraded yet.

I turned off my modem to prevent hooking up to the wi-fi and was directed to out put my password in for my wi-fi. I get a messafe saying cannot cinnext to the internet and will not allow me to go last this spot. I have a green battery, but am stuck.

Can you make photos from the screens for the steps after rebooting and attach here? Normally there should be options like skip, I do later or similar...
