When you want to flash custom recovery, in ODIN add the jar file, press start and then connect the phone, it worked for me.

You wrote your device has baseband N9300ZHU38PL1. That means your device is dual sim variant, but unfortunally with qualcomm snapdragon processor, so it cannot be rooted and also no custom rom available so far (This would only work for SM-N930F single sim or SM-N930FD exynos based dual sim variant).

You can try to get rid of the battery limit as described here:

If this will not work, then downgrade is blocked for your device type by the lastest update you got and there's no solution yet.
We are still doing research if this can be fixed at a later time.
