OK - Thank you so some other factor.
Does anyone within the Alliance have a matrix representing which Telcos are taking which actions?
Would it be useful?
Will be updating my Note 7 presently... will not get around the IMEI block by my Telco but will reduce the threat of my Note being disabled.

Alliance Shield installed...
Shield is green
Green ticks for each of SIX red services
Telco IMEI block still in place when trying to make an outgoing call get the voice message "Your service has been blocked"
I assume the Alliance Shield Stats update by country automatically.

Yes, the OEM was unlocked. Took a long time to find a connection to my laptop. Flash failed the first six times. Only thing unusual I've done was left it in airplane mode with no SIM for about four days after flashing. I was so ecstatic I got it to flash that I was afraid to do anything else with it. I did have someone attempt to give it root and it was stuck in a boot loop for about 12 days before flashing. The reset did make it come in and out, and the sprint came back on the bottom of the pull down bar, but not at the top of the notifications panel.

And I'm sorry, I'm new at this! I have an English degree and my profession is proofreading and citing for publishers. Everything I know about this I've taught myself (or you have taught me) in the past couple of weeks. I try to answer quick with as much know how as possible so that I do not waste others time. I have three little kids as well, so I know how it is getting a moment to do the little extras like this. Thank you for being so selfless and giving dummies like me a fighting chance too keep our phones as well. Your freaking awesome!
