Hi!
I tried to pass the instruction to save my N7 against the 60% Update.
When i try to block the apk i get this error:
Starting to apply application changes to device
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Processing changes to: Error: java.lang.SecurityException: Neither user 2000 nor current process has android.permission.MANAGE_USERS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finished applying application changes to device !!
Some ideas?
Thanks <3

Did you make sure to have OEM unlocked and Verify Apps via USB enabled?

Yes both of them are activated.
The other thing with shut the software Update, dosn't work.
First time i could deactivate them, when i check them fast again i can't stop them
Well i got the update icon, but i can disable once a day.
Still at 100% battery.

Thank you for your feedback. I am going to work with Michael on making a more beginner friendly version of this method. I Will post it up on the weekend I hope that you can wait until then. In the meantime keep your phone on Airplane mode if this is the only phone that you have to use use it as normal even if you get down to 60% and then we get to backup to 100% and protect your phone again.

Hi Miguelina or anyone who can help
When I try to disable packages in Debloater, I get this message also.
Starting to apply application changes to device
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Processing changes to: Error: java.lang.SecurityException: Neither user 2000 nor current process has android.permission.MANAGE_USERS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finished applying application changes to device !!
I have never gotten the 60% update because I installed Package Disabler Pro early on so I don't want to use Michael's update removal method. I'd rather use Debloater so I can get rid of the risky package disabler app that could force update itself at any time.
Does anyone know what causes the above error?
I have re-enabled all packages and turned on the appropriate options in Developer Options. I tried doing it from 2 different computer just in case but I get the same message. I'm in Australia, my Note is unlocked no carrier specific and it's the Exynos version.
Thanks for the great tutorials.
