Trephn Profiler (by Qualcomm) - help identify what's causing the lag
Startup Manager (free) - although it seems that 'package disables' were affected by having to disable features, it seems that this app wasnt. Allows you to disable a number of things from startup. Helped reduce lag for me after reboot.
