Hello all and thanks in advance you your help. Ill try and keep this short.

I'm on T-Mobile I got the update to kill the note. While I was asleep I accidentally pressed update and now my note 7. I rushed to try and download a custom rom and root on XDA well you guys know how that turned out that was before a friend recommended me to this site. Now my N7 has charge and I'm at the bootloader. I've done all the steps and downloaded the correct software as in tutorial link by catwoman. I even watched the video tutorial. Currently the situation is Smart Switch says my device is unsupported. I remind you that all the previous software has been wiped and the cash removed from my N7. Odin does recognize my phone at the Com Ports though, and when trying to install the stock firmware it fails. The only problem is with the smart switch application she recommended for download. I downloaded it and ran the app like suggested. It said that the my device is unsupported by smart switch. I came to the conclusion that this is the way I should have started vs wiping everything which is the reason I'm stuck at the boot loader because there is no data on my phone. Here are the steps I took to get past this problem.

1. Reinstalled Smart Switch, but after the reinstall no success.
2. I reopened Smart Switch and clicked the tab that says "MORE" then on Emergency Software & instillation. I followed the steps which included imputing my device model number and S/N. I Did that but my device is still reading as a unsupported device on smart switch. My question is if Oden is recognizing my phone and I can flash the software do I need smart switch since technically I'm not backing up anything.

Lastly when I press Power, Home and Up It takes me to a command screen which has an option to mount software from SD card. has anyone tried this? Anyway lemmie know because I'm trying to get this 800 dollar paper weight back working. thanks guys

Smart switch is only for the drivers. When you installed Smart Switch for the PC, did you upgrade to the most recent version?

No I didn't because you said not to on the video. But I realize now allot of people are having the same issue. The main issue is my N7 was killed with the latest update not allowing any further charge. So basically the way I understand it is if my note was still on the 60% charge firmware before the update then everything would be ok. But mine has been killed with the kill N7 update not allowing to be rolled back. I've tried just flashing the AP firmware without the BL file and I've tried flashing everything with all the files on the tutorial. So right now my phone is plugged into my computer until you guys find a solution that allows the users that have gotten the death update a way back to flashing. From what I've read from previous post you guys are currently working on this now? Right??
