Shield v1 closed at boot

I have the shield v1 (0.5.8) and s package disabler still. Both still work. Whenever I restart my phone, the green shield does not pop up. I have to manually open the shield to get the icon. I assume that means that before I open it I am running with 1 and not 2 layers of protection. Once the icon is there, it does stay even when closing the app as it should.
Is this something to be concerned about/something I need to do.

Shield v1 works as a package disabler. Once a package is disabled (hidden) this way, it will stay in this state unless you enable it again with the shield or another disabler. Uninstalling a disabler could enable packages too.
So for the update packages, be sure to not tamper with, also not with the s package disabler, if this one is working.

I did not think that this posted. I got the error below the 2 times when I tried to post what you replied to.
So with v1, having the icon there or not does not make a difference? And what makes v2 different? My understanding is that if v1 was working to not upgrade to v2.
I was going to open a General Help | Technical Issues topic for the below error, and some rendering issues that I am getting. Or is there a different place that I missed that is for website issues that you know of?

If you have a working shield v1, you're good. Don't install it or do a factory reset, as this one couldn't be re-activated later.
So there is no need for shield v2 for you.
The green icon is just for your convinience. It shows that you disabled the relevant packages, as indicated by the large green shield if you open the app.
Shield v2 is for users without protection like shield v1 only. It does not act as package disabler, but prevents the update packages from working by installing them with insuffient permissions and they fail. The result is the same, get protection from being bricked.

Is your error with the website resolved ? It should be upon reloading. Doing some back end work so apologies for errors.
