I have a Canadian Note 7 and used the 2nd method to block by installing 2 of the 3 packages with Solid explorer. (3rd one wasn't there for me)

That said, I do NOT feel confident by only having blocked just 2 packets using some install trick with Solid explorer. There are still many other update related packages I believe.

I'd like to use a package Disabler or some kind of disabling / blocking tool as an extra layer of defense.

Here is what i have blocked:

com.policydm
com.sec.android.soagent
com.wssyncmldm
com.sec.spp.push
com.sec.android.app.samsungapps
com.samsung.knox.appsupdateagent
com.samsung.firmware.sensorhub
com.samsung.android.firmware.tsp

Especially the last 2 are most important if they exist on your device.

Depending on your model / provider not all of the packages are installed.
Plus, it can be that there are some more for you, e.g. provider specific apk's.
Look for att, sprint, t-mobile etc.

I'm in UK and there is a 30% battery update on the 15th, will this work for that? Cheers.

Use the Solid explorer method to block the update:
