[SOLVED] New update

So I blocked my note 7 from getting updates does that mean this new update that coming out on December 28th to t-mobile that will make it not possible to charge and kill the service on it will it not affect me? Or do I have to do something else for me to not be worried just want to be prepared. I want to keep my note 7 as long as possible.
