Double emails notifications.

I get 2 notifications for each Gmail and Hotmail account I have. I think it is bc I have Samsung mail and Gmail but I'm afraid to f it up. How can I fix this? Thx!!

Well I'm fairly sure it has something to do with Samsung's email handler and Gmail. But Hotmail was so finicky to set up I'm afraid to delete the Samsung one because I don't want to lose it.

The answer was that he was logged into both gmail and android email with the same email address. he decided to log out of one client and no longer rcvd double messages.
