swaping note 7 battery

my tech guy just replaced my N7 battery with a recheargeable one(bb z10 LIon) and its back again after i had the kill update, it was a bit technical removing the back case cover, but i believe the shield x does a better work

so we can just replace the battery? but the download will happen again correct?
