All the N7 in canada have being declared loose for all the networks?

My note 7 is locked with Rogres... and they refuse to reconnect my phone

I installed a new room from XDA developers and it is protected against any samsung update but no network service

Also I called Samsung and asked them the N8 in replacement and they refuse. they want me to send my phone first and then they will tell me what options do I have. But they can preview an exchange for a S7 S7E

Anybody with an N7 receiving network signal in canada?

Mine is still blocked.
My gf's N7 is stilll working! She just switched from Rogers to Chatr and phone works fine on both networks

Has anyone got past the PL1 firm

I am attempting to switch SIM providers, but it's asking for the unlock code. Had anyone found a work around or been able to convince Rogers to provide it?

Can we root the canadien version (930W8) ? I'd tried SPRINT and T-Mobile methods - nothing :(

can't root the 930W8, I'll hopefully have my Bell N7 on the Bell network tonight.... as long as the IMEI isn't blocked but who knows.

Also noted in another post the phone might roam between carrier networks and function, so if you have a bell phone try forcing it to rogers or telus since they are forced to share networks now. really depends how the IMEI's are blocked i guess.

That's what I did with mine and it's working I don't know why.

There is root now, guys. That's what I did to my Note7 W8. It's in the pinned posts here on AllianceX. Now I need to get the IMEI changed/re-certed so that I can use it on networks. Also trying to unlock here, as I primarily use Chatr and have a Telus N7. The options are opening up for us, finally

Which method you applied to root your phone?

My bell note 7 isn't black listed I am no longer with bell need to unlock and test any good unlocking services?
