Brand New Note 7 Help

Hi everybody. I am new to the forums here. I just received a brand new, never turned on Note 7 from my aunt. She never returned it, but gave it to me instead. Is there a way to prevent it from getting the update screen? Would SIM card removal bypass it entirely? I just don't know what the best thing I can do would be at this point. Thank you for your help! - Alex

Is not as complicated as you might think ^^
If the Note is brand new then it's more easy since you don't need to backup anything and reset.

Just to be sure, it is not necessary to root phone first before proceed the instructions ?
