If I have a Verizon model Note7 that I bought from someone who bought it out right for the $789 and it was never activated, but I put my T-Mobile SIM in it and have used it a little, would it be at risk for an IMEI block? My T-Mobile account obviously doesn't have a Note7 registered on it, and if I go look under my devices it shows a blank picture and "unknown device" for the SIM I have in it. Any help or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

And if I wanted to IMEI spoof would it be possible to use a Note5 IMEI I have? It was stolen but I could report it "found" so the IMEI would be clean and then use its IMEI in my Note7?

That's a subject we can not allow. Discussion on any device that is stolen is a nono especially when your talking of imeis from stolen devices.

Where you located? I wanted to let you know that in USA you do not have to worry about changing your IMEI bc there is no network block for the USA.

The Note5 is mine lol, I reported it stolen because it was... I'm allowed to talk about some stealing my device and me reporting the phone stolen, it is also my decision to report it "found" and use its IMEI as I am the one who purchased the phone. Not the theif. I'm not a theif. Thank you though catwoman, I'm glad to hear there won't be IMEI banning and I am free to use my Note7 with the ADB script you guys provided.

Do you know if there may be a network block soon? I was notified by someone who also has a Note7 that their friends carrier said their Note7 is going to be IMEI blocked, although I do not know their carrier, I just know they are in the US like me.

They are bluffing. We are okay here in the USA. Their reps keep giving wrong information. If they will do something, they have to give a press release.
