I am trying to revive a 60% battery Note 7 that has a "dm-verity verification failed ...... Need to check DRK first" problem. It also says JTAG lock is on. It is a UK Vodafone unit and I have flashed with an equivalent of the file N930FXXU2BPI7 and others but it still fails. I believe I require the N930FXXU2BPJ9 file but I cannot find it anywhere - does anyone have this or a link to it? Beowulf, I have checked the file in your answer to Bessogasa's post but the file is the BPI7 version, any thoughts?

The BPJ9 and the BPI7 are both baseband 2 firmware versions, so it should be possible to downgrade normally.

If dm-verity verification failed is shown, then it seems this phone has been rooted before and allow modifications (to system partition) was checked, maybe with TWRP.

If you can boot up to Android, go to developer options and make sure USB debugging and OEM unlock is activated, then you can try to install TWRP and continue with super-su (versions from 2.77 and higher contain a tool against sammies anti-root protection).

Hi,
I purchased a Firmware N930FXXU2.... Note 7 recently, with 60% downgrade, safety- warning, Android-safety.patch 01.09.2016, Knox 2.7, ....and I would kove, to get it to work again.
Where are we today? What is the right procedure, to secure my N7 end of 2017?
I have read dozens of instructions to solve the Problems...but all of them out of history...I prefer an actual plan.
Can anybody help me learning me todays methods to get rid of loading Limits and Samsung updates?
By the way, safe Folder was installes, and I did the Solid Explorer (if necessary)...
Glad about any comment,
Cheers,
Andy
