hello to whoever may be listening. I recently found this site and love it by the way. after installing the new firmware, returning to 100% battery and using the software to block samsung ota updates, i thought everything was working fine until i noticed i could no longer access the playstore, youtube, or internet (chrome) via wifi. has anyone else had this problem and if so is there a solution to this..

i can access playstore using data but not over wifi. connection timed out (retry). is all it says. am i supposed to get a message after restart ( unfortunately, software update has stopped).

You are very welcome. The pleasure is all mine. I know why this is happening. It is bc you have too may things disabled.
1) Download our XML list here:
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=260 (maky sure you download it to your phone and not your SD card.)
2) Place your phone on airplane mode
3) Enable all packages
4) Import our XML file to disable the Samsung OTA update packages
5) Enjoy your Note 7.

. i'm still getting the message pop up stating (unfortunately, software update has stopped).

You'll get those. Its going to happen about 3-4 times then goes away. everytime you turn on your phone I believe or just occasionally. Its what you were trying to do,block the update from happening.

the pop up isn't a problem for me. the problem is that now I cant access the play store or YouTube unless I use LTE when I'm home I cant use WiFi

Wow even after enabling all of those packages. Then I suggest flashing your phone with all 4 files
