The Future of Our Alliance

Hello Allies,
I know, that most of you recently came here to join in solidarity. We have been treated poorly not only by Samsung, but also the Note 7 Rebels site that was supposed to be our safe haven. Sharing our experiences has definitely been part of the healing process. Unfortunately, posting multiple threads about Jay overshadowed our true purpose. What I want to say is that we are also here for another reason, our passion for the awesome Note 7. Though we are in pain we cannot let this define us.
The road to hell is often paved with good intentions. I was on that road and I apologize for my behavior. Feeling so wronged and misrepresented by someone who claimed to have taught me everything I know made me sick to my stomach. I will make this very clear; my mentors are XDA and CellBros. Not Jay. My goal for the expose party was to set the records straight about the Alliance and myself. My second goal was to move people away from his donation scam bc his methods are obsolete and incomplete. People were turning in their phones bc they could no longer enjoy it. And though I am happy many of you joined us today, I am saddened that it took away from a prominent victory we recently had.
Just a few days ago, we were not able to protect our phones from the 60% firmware update yet again. But just yesterday, we found workarounds to protect all Note 7 phones without an app from the Google Play Store! We are amazing and we need to continue to present that first. We have a bigger goal now that we can protect ourselves again. There are about 300,000 ppl in the globe that still have a Note 7. We need to help them, hold them close to our loving hearts and provide a true sanctuary.
Now that we know what needs to change, I want to share with you how we will get there. We can only do this if we work together. This will help us grow our community and protect more Note 7s. We need to move most of our conversations to the site. It will be very difficult to communicate with each other effectively on the Facebook page when we get bigger. I am not saying we cannot be here, we can absolutely do so but I would like give you an example. When we post 3 topics about Jay that goes to the top, it can make the group look like a “hate fest” easily. We know we are not about that. We know we are just venting, but bc of the design of the Facebook, it works against us.
This is especially true when it comes to troubleshooting. We need to provide people with tools to help themselves. Documenting and capturing fixes outside of the Tutorials are so important. Think about your fellow allies, they will be able to enjoy their Note 7 sooner. Ppl will come for the protection and stay for the company of our awesome likeness. The more we grow, the more we won’t feel hurt and alone. But this first starts with us, right now. John has made some changes to the site that makes it more intuitive and interactive. Remember, this our home and we can make it to our leisure. The key is participation because it is not all about the Note 7, but is not all about Jay either. We encourage off topic discussions. We are all friends here and friends don’t just only talk about one topic.
Again, I am sorry to let you all down and let it get out of hand. We have every right to be upset but we do not have the right to be cruel. I love you all more than you know. <3
