What exactly is the alliance shield? The deeper answer.

I too would like an answer for this. Does this do the same as the Disable ADB method?

The alliance shield is a more advanced fool proof way of stopping the updates.it eliminates all the guess work with what packages need to be disabled and what carriers your on.it also I think changes the code in your phone to stop the updates from pushing through.Hope this helps
