Will I need to disable more items in the bloatware tab once the Shield is enabled or does the public version take care or blocking the death updates for me? If we do need to block other items, is there a screenshot or checklist?

I scrolled through the bloatware list and see at least 5 items that are RED rather than the rest of the list in green. Are those the "killer" files? Sorry for being such a noob at this

bloatware is simply that, it'll automatically disable our list of what we would consider bloatware. when app packages are 'red' that means they're disabled. when they're green, that means they are active. You want them to be RED if you don't want them on. From within the bloat manager you can then use the shield as a full-fledged package disabler atop the shield. The shield will auto detect what carrier you are on and disable the required packages needed for that carrier. If you've run the abd script or any other package disabler prior to our shield, you may see things that are disabled that are not from the shield itself. It is our recommendation that you only have ONE disabler installed. Either the shield, or another.
