ALLIANCE SHIELD: PUBLIC RELEASE (READ ENTIRE POST)

Hmmm it seems like I no longer have any Mobile Data. No 3G/4G/4G LTE after fixing the 60% Battery firmware via the Forum method.

I'm tempted to do a factory reset again to see if it would fix it but before I do, has anyone else seen this issue?

I think i had seen others comment previously regarding a similar issue with some of the programs prior to the Shield, but that has been several posts prior.

That's another reason i took the SIM card out of my phone and used a backup phone until i could get the Note7 running well, then swap the SIM card back.

Hi all!

I had successfully flashed the firmware to the one in the sticky and it seemed like everything was perfect but now that I left work I noticed I don't have Data anymore.

I can still call and text no problem, I have Service but no data.

Anyone seen this problem?

I'm tempted to do a factory reset again to see if it would fix it but before I do, has anyone else seen this issue?

If you have normal phone service and no mobile data (assume that you have mobile data switched to "on") then it seems that you don't have the correct APN in mobile network settings. The APN needed depends on yor provider and should be easy to find then by google. If the corect one is missing you can set it up by using "add" function.

I did take my Sim Card out until I had the Shield installed and everything backed up. I was worried about that as well

Yes this was the first thing I though of. When checking the APN list they are all greyed out and so is the "add" button. Mobile Data is definitely turned on,I double checked that as well..

That's weird. If you got the correct firmware for your model, then I'd give the factotory reset a try.

The factory reset fixed it! Back to 100% Green Battery, Shield installed and holding steady, no pop-ups & full mobile service! Wrote this on my LTE!

Did you have 5 Posts on the Forum? once you have 5 Posts you can install/validate it with your Forum Credentials.
