I am currently without a personal pc and am not very technologically savvy. Is there any other way to do the reversal and get the shield without a pc? Please help as I'm avoiding the kill update that is currently waiting on my phone.

Ok...I'll have to locate one then. And I need to revert the firmware before I can get the shield, correct? Thank you

No you can download the Shield and use it with your 60% Battery, that is no problem. Try to surf the off topic Forums and get 5 Posts and then download/install the Shield.
