Has Sprint started the kill update?

not yet. on the 8th. got to get my phone protected NOW!!

Im not sure tbh. I can still charge as of 1:37 am eastern time on 1/7 but its in and out as if the wire was loose but its not. Mobile data works though... is the wire thing just a cooincidence?

I believe its tomorrow (Sunday the 8th of January) when it starts

Anybody got the update yet?

The update is not until the 8th. I am inclined to be there will be no sucker punch from sprint. They have been pretty up front about what their intentions were with the phone, and I do not know about you, but I get a regular countdown on my phone. It used to be every 3 or 4 days I would get a reminder about the deadline, but at this point, I am getting an update once a day, and they are coming in the form of pages, not text. I should have taken a screen-shot of the thing, but all of their warnings and notices have become white noise, so I don't put enough value on them to think "oh, this might be important to someone else- I ought to get picture evidence of it, so they can see what I have seen."

It will start on the 8th but I'm sure the update will roll out slowly and it will probably take up to 2 days for the update to reach everyone.

This is nuts I protected my device from the beginning but this is a new threat smh... No update yet.. Bklyn ny

Did anyone receive any updates on the sprint updates?

No notice except texts from Sprint. Will see the next couple of days if we will be ok

Still no update for me Im on sprint its 2 am on the 8th

I haven't either. I'm sure if we have the shield we are good, just hoping they don't block ESNs in the future.

I have the shield on and still got the update it says I can only postpone the update 3 more times

I got the update can I downgrade?

Did u have the shield and was it on before u received the update. I see u just received 5 post. Curious if u have any protection
