Can I use Samsung Gear VR (after Shield install)??

Hello, I was wondering of there is an EASIER way to install and use OCULUS for the Gear VR after restoring my NOTE 7 and Shield. I've read the OCULUS guide on this site and it's VERY confusing!! Is there a simpler way?? HELP!!

Problem SOLVED!!! Thanks to Dani Vannucci from the Facebook members!! She found an app called Play Cardboard in the Playstore for under $2.00!! You install the app-- select cardboard mode--- start the vr app you want to use-- and VIOLA!!! Now it's sort of a pain to have to keep pulling your phone off and on between each app... BUT IT WORKS!!
