Verizon sent the message stating 1/30 I wouldn't have service. Woke up today no phone. Wish u all luck. Working on a fix.

Just fyi it's serious they shut me down 10 days early, I was able to get reconnected after 6 hours but just want you all to be aware they are not going by the dates and saying the federal government made them do it.

Yeah that's what the story is over and over, many now, 1 cancellation of my line, finally got one tech to fix me but I got warned still I have a timer.

If they cut u early, call and call till u get your fix. Don't let them discourage u, it is reversible despite what they initially say.

They said it's 1000 ordered a day randomly from now till the 30th. Idk if they are trying to make me feel better or if Verizon actually has that many hold outs. But hold out...its not right. They are effectively reposessing our phones without giving proper notice. It turned from nice to super aggressive and they want to pretend like big brother is doing it...but no, it's them.

They said 1/31/17. I got hotlined today 1/20/17 at 1:30pm. We must all contact our local state attorney general!

You can get a prepaid sim. They still seem to be working. Including the Verizon ones

I'd wait and make sure it still works after the 30/31 cut off date Verizon has given out.

Along those lines though what other carriers / services can we use the Verizon note 7 on?

call and BITCH it's VOLUNTARY RECALL they can't FORCE you to do nothing! Don't settle fo NO! get a supervisor on the line!
Stress it's VOLUNTARY!! still have text messages they sent you? read them back to them! once again STRESS VOLUNTARY!!
if enough of us keep doing this maybe they will get the hint!

I was hotlines today. After 20 min on the phone with tech support he reversed it, but said it can pop back up.

Is there a way to spoof Verizon into thinking you have a different phone so they don't put us in hotline status?

Encouraging some are getting it reversed. My girlfriend called and elevated to supervisor and yelled at them but they said they could not reverse it. She wouldn't listen to me and just gave up and returned it next day. She should have tried again.

I am on my second call of the day with a second supervisor, and they still refuse and tell me I cannot escalate any higher. I explained that I know they are reversing some people and that I don't understand the inconsistency. They claim that it is not happening. UGH
