I am going to become a donor today but I don't know who to donate to. I would like to see if I may be able to root my N930vvrs2aphe Verizon Note 7 on T-MOBILE service and if possible I have absolutely no problem donating I just need to know the right person to talk to. Any and all help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. Rock on all Note7 users!! We are the last of a dying breed..

So far the root will probably be a temporary root... meaning once rooted if you reboot, root is gone.. I do have a root shell and am working on installing su. The only issue I am currently having is when I mount /system or / as rw the phone instantly reboots. Once I figure a workaround to that, and finally get su installed I will be posting a tutorial and everything needed to root.

That sounds good @dave.jones I would even be happy with temporary root honestly, that's IF you get it fully rooted. Which I'm not too worried about as I know there are some heavy hitter developers in the Note7alliance community here!! I am also a beta tester so if there is anyway I could help/assist you in the root process, let me know dave.jones

Still working on it... I managed to get su installed however I am having a few issues that cause the phone to reboot and lose root. These issues must get resolved even for a temporary root or they will basically render root useless. I currently can not mount / or /system as rw without the phone rebooting. This probably has something to do with forced encryption and dm-verity together. It is a slow process but I assure you that as soon as it is fixed it will be released. Testing on other variants of the phone will be useless as this method will work for all variants of the note 7, as well as provide the same issues.

Thank you for the update on progress @dave.jones
Also have you run any scripts after installing su?
