Just want to say I have my shield, I'm still at 100%, Verizon hotlined then brought me back. Phone is working with 100% capability. Idk if the carriers are bypassing the sheild, but what I did as a back up was install a memory filling app. I worked in the industry and had many customers coming in telling me they could not update because their memory was full. It is convenient to have to free data when I want to install something but so far I'm alive. If you are alive one Verizon please lmk. Would love to see some spirit here!

Did they bring you back using the same SIM Verizon Hotlined you on?

I activated my Note 5 until the hotline period ended, then reactivated my Note 7. Still alive for me.

I was alive but they finally got me today. Seems like many have had success after calling and arguing. Richard, I'm surprised you were able to successfully reactivate your note 7. Anything special you did?

They got me also again today after reactivating me on 1/20. I called an hour ago and spoke with a 1st level and manager at VZW and they both said this was the end of the line. They COULD NOT reactivate again.

Is this finally it? I was thinking I would call once more today and see, but she seemed pretty adamant. She would not or could not connect me with anyone higher level. Any other ideas or suggestions?

It's completely possible took me a 6 min call same sim, everything not even escalation, 1st rep did it. Call tech not customer care

Customer care is Xerox fyi not Verizon staff don't pay any attention to them

I agree with isowetardid. Call and change the imei and change it by a couple numbers or use a different galaxy imei or just any Android imei and see if that works..

I was hotlined between last night and this morning. I called to speak with Verizon and the supervisor said he had no way of turning it back. At first he told me that there was nothing he could do about it because it came from Samsung. I reminded him that I paid a bill to Verizon and that Samsung didn't turn off my network signal. He agreed with me, but still did not turn it back on. He tried to offer me another phone, but I was not interested in any of his options. I'm going to find a way to revive my 7 again.
