Hey all,
So I used BK Disabler until it stopped working, however I still have the app. I also have the Alliance Shield Version 0.5.8
My issue is that I cannot enable/disable any packages using either of those apps. The BK Disabler won't activate the license, while the Alliance Shield won't actually list any of the packages in its version of the package disabler.
I have tried every other package disabler I can think of... same result
If you know of any method please let me know,
Thanks

If you have working shield (v1) 0.5.8 you can use it like a package disabler. Open shield app, then just look for the 3 dots in the right area of the title, tap on it and choose package management. After a short time, all packages will be listed. The green ones are active, the red ones not.Oleg wrote: Tue Feb 14, 2017 2:58 pm Hey all,

Be careful not to tamper with red (already blocked) packages related to the system / software updates.

I've tried that. No packages show up in the list

Maybe this is affected by the bk disabler, even if not working any longer due to license.
Thats why we recommended to remove other pd's before using the shield.
Who is your carrier? For AT&T or VZW models you could use ADB method or debloater for handling individual packages.

Or debloater (uses ADB too), gives you the opportunity for "individual tuning" of your note, if you know what you do.
With Sprint or T-Mobile this won't work. Use the shield v2 instead.

Is there a way to use shield v2 on verizon? I don't see the option to disable packages. I'll use debloater if I have to, just wasn't sure if I was missing something.

@peregrinus
You can use shield v2 with verizon like with any other carrier. It's not a package disabler. You don't need to disable the update packages as they will be installed by shield with insufficient permissions so they will fail. However it's up to you with verizon phone to use ADB script or even debloater if you are sure what you do.

you can use shield v1 as package disabler with your s5. Make 2 more posts (non spam) to be qualified for shield usage.

Thanks, ended up using debloater, I'm all squared away now. I just thought maybe there was a built in disabler I was missing.
that along with the updated samsung pay is awesome.
