I was saying I was excited about Version 3 in general! The specifics of why they had to take a different approach between the versions 1 & 2 had to do with all Note 7's being removed from the Knox EULA. The specifics of the changes between versions 2 & 3 were to continue to evolve the app in such a fashion that it would add more functionality and still couldn't be shut-off by Samsung, or Google. As far as S package, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking?

@joonjoon doing a reset with v3 will help set the new method. So I would wait. Progress is coming faster than anticipated.joonjoon wrote: Tue Mar 21, 2017 10:20 pm When rhe v3 is released, should we update to it from the version 1. Im on the original shield. Still running strong but my phone has been lagging a bit. Kinda want to hard reset but dont since im on version 1
If this pace keeps up a early beta is possible during the first week or two in April. No promises

If the production keeps pace, I can see a VERY LIMITED beta in the first half of April. NO promise. I said that on the post right before you posted.

I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy that I'm not alone. I have a Verizon Note 7 which I purchased from Ewireless who I have a contract with and works on Verizon. I refused sending it back because I love it…, when Samsung started software killing I paid and downloaded BK Disabler which appeared to do the job. Then like a fool I decided to reset my phone and re-installed BK Disabler to find out it now wont authorize because Samsung got to them, paid them off or something. So I've been using my Note 4 because I heard Verizon will kill my Sim. I've been so hoping mad about the who thing, I called Ewireless yesterday prepared to have a huge fight and they said just put the sim back in your Note 7 and it will work fine but I said it's the Note 7 that blows up, yes I understand it will work. Hmm Sounds funny, I don't trust Verizon and any kill updates out there, so I appreciate what you guys have been working on and hopefully be able to protect my property.

The Shield v2 will stop the updates until v3 is ready.John007 wrote: Fri Mar 24, 2017 12:48 am I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy that I'm not alone. Verizon might block it, or because you are using a 3rd party you might be ok.

I confirm that Shield v2 is doing its job with T Mobile, whom told me to do the same, and once I popped my SIM card in, got connection, and the update started downloading, I was not using Shield, or it was not ON. But the point is, not only they lie, but also they are stupid.RRiVEN wrote: Fri Mar 24, 2017 12:27 pmThe Shield v2 will stop the updates until v3 is ready.John007 wrote: Fri Mar 24, 2017 12:48 am I'm new to this forum and I'm so happy that I'm not alone.
