Like others running Shield v2, there is a regularly occurring notice that says "unfortunately, software update has stopped" This is the brick update failing to update which is great! Shield v2 RULES!!!
But lately, there is a new one on my T-Mobile phone that says "Urgent FW update has stopped"
I think that Samsung is trying some new update, but Shield v2 is holding strong!
I wonder if there is some chump in Korea saying "Dammit, my updates won't go thru on some of the Note7's. GRRR"
In other words, I hope they are completely aware that they have been defeated!
BWAH ha ha ha ha ha !!!!!!

Is it safe to download the V2? I upgraded to PI4 by accident and now lost root, so I did a fresh ODIN and now screwed because all package disablers do not work anymore so this is my last chance. Please help

If you want to use shield v2 it's available here:1squirr3l wrote: Sat Mar 25, 2017 11:02 am I cannot wait to download the V2. PDP license is no longer active, so my Note 7 feels "naked", especially with this new push from Sammy.

I have that and it doesn't do anything. But periodically it will try to update and fail. You will get 2 notices of "unfortunately, software update has stopped" That is the Shield v2 thwarting the update from finishing.
There is a way to get rid of those notices, but you have to factory reset the phone and reinstall Shield v2 in such a way as to not allow the update to download again. I just live with the notices. Reminds me of how Samsung has been punked
