V2 was working on my Note7 perfectly for about a week. Then Verizon took over and killed my text messages and forwarded all my calls to customer service. The pulled the Sim and put in my s7 edge but the lady helping me could not get the Sim back online. I had to find an old one that she was able to activate.
I'm nervous that Verizon will fry another Sim if I switch them back again. But damn it, 8 want my Note7 working!

The only thing that will buy you at least a little time is a new sim...Hepbone wrote: Sat Mar 25, 2017 5:53 pm V2 was working on my Note7 perfectly for about a week. Try "Wipe Cache Partition" in "Recovery Menu". That can help...i have often this Problen. A Wipe Cache help on my Note 7 and not Lagging again. Then, 7-14 Days i do it again.sweetnothings87 wrote: Sun Mar 12, 2017 11:05 am Sweet, I'm really wanting to reset my phone because it's been seriously lagging lately what's the best way to go about doing that to do avoid the bricking update and should I wait until version 3 is released?

To explain how to Clean/Wipe Cache Partition on Note7 like Obeeron77 suggested, Do the following:
Step 1 – Turn OFF your phone
Step 2 – Now press and hold the following buttons for a few seconds, all at the same time: Power + Volume Up + Home
Step 3 – After a few seconds, you should see the Recovery Mode screen on your Samsung Galaxy Note 7
You can now navigate around the recovery mode using your volume and power buttons!

I got att note 7 that had originally firmware. Pr3vios owner turned it on 2 weeks ago and update got downloaded but never installed due to battery going down before reboot. Now every time I turn it on want to install update and can't be forced in to recovery. I end up tuning it off before completing update. Any way to stop update from installing when I turn it on?
