This tutorial helps those that upgraded from Marshmallow to Nougat and do not like it. I provided the approved firmware that will allow you to go back to Marshmallow without bricking. You can do this successfully if you have Nougat 7.0. I have not tried with 7.0.1 so if you are going to do it, it is at your own risk.
Following the steps below erase all of you data but you will have a clean and efficient phone.
Don't forget to back up your info so you can put it back in after you install the firmware.
I am using my Samsung Galaxy S7 Active for this tutorial but this works with all models.

-Make sure you are in the "General" tab
-Pay attention to the destination of where you are going to be extracting the files to. By default, it will create a folder right where your zip file is located.
-Make sure that in the "Update mode" section, the "Extract and replace files" is selected.
-Here is an example of what it looks like when the files are extracted. There should be 4 files. These filed start with AP, BL, CP and CSC.
➤ Odin:
-After you have downloaded the zip file then it is time to extract the flies like you did with your firmware above.
- After the files have been extracted, go to the folder and right click on "Odin3_v3.12.3"
-Time to load the firmware onto Odin:
1. Press the BL button.
2.Locate the folder you extracted your files to.
3.Choose the file that starts with BL.
4.Choose "Open" so it loads onto Odin
-Repeat the steps for AP, CP and CSC buttons.
-*NOTE* Be patient with the AP file can take up to 10mins to load and Odin will freeze and it is not responding until it loads the AP.
Below is an example of the finish product when the firmware is loaded correctly. Please note that the file must match.
➤➤ Prepare Your S7 Device
-Make sure that USB Debugging, OEM Unlock and Verify Apps via USB are enabled in your Developer Options. If you are not sure, follow the steps here.
-If you have a package disabler installed in your phone, please enable all packages.
-Turn off your S7 Device
-Flashing takes a lot of energy from your phone so please make sure it is charged up to 60% before we start.
-Remove you SIM card and SD card from your S7.
-While the phone is off, you will press 3 buttons at the same time and hold it until the screen turns blue with a Warning sign. The 3 buttons are Volume DOWN + Power + Home buttons.
-Press Volume UP button to Continue. You will now enter Download Mode
➤➤ Time to Flash
-Plug your S7 device to your PC via your micro usb type cable. Wait 5-10 mins to make sure your PC recognizes your phone and all the drivers are configured. Please do not rush this step. If you do do, then you can potentially brick your phone.
-If Odin recognizes your phone, the 2 sections at the bottom will change.
-Now Press the "Start" button.
-Be patient, this can take 15-20mins. If the process is successful, you will see the changes below. A green progress bar will start to fill under the word SYSTEM and a white progress bar will start to fill.
-When both of the bars fill you will get a green Screen that says it passed and you phone will show a screen saying that it is Erasing.

-After it finishes Erasing and then starts to reboot, unplug your phone from your computer.
-It can take a long time to reboot, be patient. Can take up to 5-10mins to get to the Welcome Screen.
-Follow the prompts on the Welcome screen to get to the Home Screen but do not connect to wifi or put your SIM Card back in. Doing so will allow the Samsung OTA update to download again.
Use Shield v1 to block Samsung Updates so you do not go back to Marshmallow.
