Ok I have T-Mobile and so you are saying that I don't need to do any more updates from the apk that I used right before the first of the year. Then why are you guys making new programs if the problem was solved with the December disabler method this new Version must have some type of benefit to it?
If you are protected by older version of shield or other update blocking method like ADB or solid explorer method you are fine.
Shield V3 will include a full package disabler. So users with Note 7 who don't have a working disabler or shield V1 can profit, as V1 only works for users who activated it before mid of January. Other package disablers failed for a lot of people too, cause of revoked license.
So we'll bring the full ability to block any package (not only updates) back to them.

I've only had my Note 7 for a week, but I'm super excited to try this out! Thanks for the help Note7Alliance!
How is it that you have only had the Note7 for a week? Is it new?
After two months of searching, one finally popped up for sale in my city. I snapped it up right away. It's an original unit (APH1 firmware), but was never returned by the owner and instead stored for some time without being used. It's pretty much brand new in that sense.
(I'm new to posting, n thought I'd just posted so pls. excuse the "x2 post" if it shows up twice)
I wanted to say that while I'm still very new to all of this, I'm excited to hear about this & for the potential it could bring for all of us
Y'all haven't steered us wrong yet and you're doing it for free so I have full trust in your timetable and your continued testing. Once again, thanks to all who have been instrumental in keeping this going. The new version has a great look to it. Excited for the release!
