Galaxy 8 launcher and bixby apk

Hello ya'll,

I was wondering, as it popped up all over, if there's a possibility ti install Galaxy 8 launcher and Bixby on our beautiful N7.
Apparently some S7 running 7.0 are able to install the launcher and apk, (www.apk mirror) but I was wondering if anyone has tried it on the N7 if it works, or if it can be adapted to work....

I tried it and it wasn't able to install. Got the parsing error message. I then tried the XDA workaround and got the same error for the AOD apk,Touchwiz apk and of course, the Bixby apk...
But I am not a tech guru by any means...I know more about Android than most (except with the brains and ingenuity of those around here, I frequently feel like a mental midget ) but not enough to get this going.
Seems the issue is that Bixby, at the moment, can only run on Nougat.
And in order for the majority of us, Nougat simply isn't an option due to the inability to root/flash nougat, due to the inability to unlock the N7 bootloader.

Of course, given the statement in parentheses above, I am almost certain someone will come along and prove me wrong with some sweet little hack which I'd gladly welcome.

lol it is a bug. the reason why those apks don't work is bc you need to have Nougat. Note7s are only marshmallow
