I finally got my phone up to 100% but upon putting my Sim into it, it said Sim not recognized. I called Rogers my phone company and they said they didn't brick the note 7s, so Samsung must have by my imei? Is that possible, is it legal? How can I change my imei?

I moved your post to a new topic, so you would be more likely to get help...
Just for giggles - shut your phone off, remove your SIM card, wipe it with a soft cloth, re-insert it, and reboot your phone. If this doesn't work, get a new sim card from your carrier, or try a sim card from another phone on the same carrier. I think the problem may well be your sim card. Let us know what happens.

I did what you suggested. Even tried a Sim card from a different phone company and the Sim card from my sons phone. And same thing. I think the imei is blocked

just out of curiousity, did you run your IMEI through any of the online sites, like https://swappa.com/esn or http://www.imeipro.info/ to see if it shows up? Let me know. I was trying to find it, but I *think* I read somewhere that Rogers blocked someone's phone by IMEI...?

I get the message "Not a valid IMEI number" with Imeipro. Same as OP - Rogers Note 7 that doesn't detect the SIM card.
If and when I get my Note 7 out of the horrid V3APL1 firmware, I'll check my SIM card again and change it if necessary.

Have you been got yours working again? No success since late last week.
