Android 7.0 on S8+ text preview reduced to 1 line

I got the S8+ and it's cool and everything, but one thing I noticed that is worse is that the text notification popup with the preview of the text message and the "reply" "mark as read" and "close" only has 1 line available to type in your quick reply. So when you fill that up, it scrolls horizontally instead of adding a line below and so on.

I thought it could be changed using a different theme, but they all seem to have that.

Wondering if there is a way to modify that? No setting that I can find.
