Does this version require a factory reset? Is this version still working for authentication?

Hi Robert. Yes version 2 works. Install v3 (X) which has all 3 options available in one. The Knox Disabler for all Samsung phones (v1), the software stop patch for note 7 (v2, non Disabler) and lastly the newest package Disabler method not requiring the use of Knox: v3 (X)

Thank you. It seems there is a good amount of Samsung specific info I am not familiar with yet.

Maybe I have an older version; I'm not seeing anywhere to download the .apk. The version I have installed is not finding what it's looking for as far as address for verifying login credentials.

could you show me how to get the v3. my note 7 s package disabler crashed today and i have been comprimised. tghanks

" Tap on Shield Icon → Tap on Red shield icon and it will turn into a Green shield icon → Packages icons will light up RED and you will get a pop that says: Software update has been disabled"

My shield icon is green but the packages are also green, What did I do wrong?

My guess is you didn't install the fake packages when prompted. You really should update to ShieldX, it can use the v2 method. v1, and v2 are not getting any updates.
