Canadian green battey blocked N7 bricked itself overnight

My N7 was blocked via adb and everything was fine till 2 weeks ago. I left N7 on my wireless charger and woke up to a black screened N7 with blue msg light flashing. I tried to reboot vol down + power and vol up +home+power. None worked. I then left the battery to drain for 2 weeks. I tried again to charge it via cable - the phone didnt get warm and still not responding to any keys. I put it on wireless charger, my charger does light up and the phone did get warm, but still i couldnt power it on. I then tried to plug it to my laptop via cable, windows kept reporting it defective usb device and then disconnect then reconnect again and disconnect...is there nothing i can do other than having it as paper weight?
