Hello,

I recently updated to 0.4.3 and my fingerprint sensor is no longer working. Message pops up " Attention An error has occurred with the fingerprint sensor, if this message appeared repeatedly, restart your device."

I've restated 50 times as well as cleared the cache from the fingerprint file and phone as a whole, still not working.

Is anyone else having this issue or had this before?

Thanks in advance.

Type 'security' under your disabled apps menu and post a screenshot of what you have disabled.

I took a screenshot as requested, not sure how to attach the pic but the 3 apps that are disabled are Facebook, Messenger, & Sprint Fun & Games.

Try a soft reset by pressing and holding the "Power" and "Volume Down" button for 10 seconds until the device powers down. The device will refresh itself without losing any of your data. Hence the 'soft' reset. If this does not work to restore your fingerprint issue then try to wipe the cache partition of the device.

To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

Turn off the device.
Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time:
Volume Up key
Home key
Power key.
When the phone powers on and displays 'Power', release all keys and the Android icon should appear.
When the Android System Recovery screen appears approx. 30 seconds later.
Press the Volume down key to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
Press the Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight 'yes' an press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
Please let the community know if you still need further information!

I have also done this several times also to no avail. I really don't want to fully wipe my phone and return it to factory. This sucks. Thanks for trying. If you or anyone knows another way, I'm all ears.
