I have a 2nd Generation Sprint Note 7. Does it matter which version should I use? Am I wasting my time in trying to block the update?

How about the same question only with a 1st Generation Verizon Note 7?

For all without an already (in the past) activated one, Shield V1 is no longer working for all Note 7s, because Samsung revoked the knox license for all Note 7s. However, if you have a working Shield V1, there is no need to change it.

Shield V2 functionaltity is integrated in Shield X (v3), so Shield V2 is obsolete.

Use the current Shield X version to get best protection and more features (depending on your post count).

I was trying to explore which was the better option when it came to installing shield. Is it safe to say that Shield X will work on Sprint Note 7 N930? Thanks.
