If the option to activate Knox isn't shown, the device probably does not have Knox. There are a lot of Samsung devices without Knox, especially many of the low budget A and M models.

Look at this list from Samsung (if you read N/A it means Knox not available):

And of course the app works properly with Android 11.

If a device does not have Knox built-in by the vendor, then there's no solution.
You cannot install Knox like an app, since it needs special hardware.
