Setup "Device Owner" and start disabling apps.Sagemizenko wrote: Mon Mar 28, 2022 10:23 pm How do I make myself an owner for my phone on aliance x?
To setup Shield as Device Owner and begin disabling apps, you can follow the guide below. There are three methods available to choose from:
Device Owner Setup with PC & ADB
shield/device-owner-qr-setup/#adbpc
Device Owner Setup with QR and Factory Reset
shield/device-owner-qr-setup/#qr
Device Owner Setup with Wireless ADB
shield/device-owner-qr-setup/#wadb
Knox-only will NOT work for GoS. You can only PREVENT apps from starting with Knox and this does not work on system services.
:warning: WARNING: You will not be able to use Samsung Secure Folder :file_folder: or SmartSwitch :repeat: Backup after setting device owner. :outbox_tray: You must also remove all accounts from your device one time to set the permission. You can add them back afterwards. If you don't want to/can't do that - you can factory reset. Device Owner will stay in-place until you remove it.
