Hello,
I have 2 Note 7's, they are the 2nd Edition with green battery. One was in use for 2 weeks and the other was initiated when first purchased but no Sim Card was ever added. I need to know where to start with the phones to bring them to their ultimate safety and function. Do I need to reinstall "Firmware" or do I need to start here: "[UPDATED: 12.3.16]: Ultimate Guide to Blocking Packages That Causes 60% Battery Firmware (All Models)". I did put Package Disabler Pro on the phones (Package_Disabler_Pro_v6.2.apk) before Samsung blocked a lot of it's settings (auto updates turned off on Google Play Store for phones).
Phone#1: Package_Disabler_Pro_v6.2.apk and 100% battery use
Phone#2: Package_Disabler_Pro_v6.2.apk but not used with a Sim Card and 100% battery use
[Solved] Where do I start

I just started with "[UPDATED: 12.3.16]: Ultimate Guide to Blocking Packages That Causes 60% Battery Firmware (All Models)" and it seems to be working fine, unable to update phone when I click software update which is expected; thanks for creating this forum!
Time to tackle the first phone and I'll let you know how things go, if unable to use the ultimate guide, I will do the firmware.

I had a harder time with the first phone. I think while my phone has not been used in over a month and unplugged with no sim card, somehow Samsung got into it to stop my phone at 62%. While trying to enable the files that I had disabled in October, the package disabler pro would not let me re-enable all the files, but I just so happen to have the old BK disabler on my phone too and was able to enable everything. Then I ran the "[UPDATED: 12.3.16]: Ultimate Guide to Blocking Packages That Causes 60% Battery Firmware (All Models)". I also reinstalled the package disabler 6.2 just in case it had updated.
My phone dropped down to 61% before I got a chance to use your update, and it was plugged in for well over 30mins. Once I updated and restarted my computer, my battery increased. As of the last 20 minutes, it has gone to 80%. Thanks again!
NOTE: I have a different version model that the second phone:
#1 = N930AUCS2APHE
#2 = N930AUCS1APHE
So MY question is: should I reinstall the firmware for the 1st phone????

Has either phone been affected by the 60% battery update? If not, just follow the tutorial to disable packages. If so, you'll need to flash the firmware first then disable packages

Sorry about the confusion, the only Firmware I have is N930AUCS2APHE. I do not have N930AUCS1APHE. I went ahead and fixed that typo on the site. Again, sorry for the confusion.Splen wrote: NOTE: I have a different version model that the second phone:
