Hi everyone. Today I rooted my note with the help of a friend but something is amiss. We followed the tutorial on High on Android but I am new and my friend only speaks a little english. I hadnt explored this forum yet.
Its a rooted 930FD... for some reason I got the 60% update before the US. I am in Venezuela. I was not too concerned with the 60% but thought rooting would have an option to duck out of this. I see I can go back to ODEN and flash Hydra? to get rid of this but I am just wondering that since the phone is rooted can I do something else that is simpler (for me... I'm over my head as it is.) Are there any files I can remove since the phone is rooted now that I can remove that will change the battery restriction? Or does it all point to reinstalling again.
ALSO, and more importantly, am i safe from the updates now? I still have samsung pay & secure folder... Is there anything I can remove to really stop the paranoia permanently?
Thanks in advance for any info you can give me. I did look through the threads but couldn't find anything specifically on this situation..
