I had downloaded and read through a bunch of the tutorials earlier this month and revisiting to make sure I a fully protected.
I tried to view the solid explorer method and it said I wasn't authorized to view it? Has it been removed or is there a post ban before I am able to view the information again?

Thank you, does this mean that the S package Disabler is also obsolete?
I wasn't able to find any of the items they recommend disabling using the app.

I should also ask. I am running the 60% update. And am currently fine with it. Will there be any reason this will not work? Or can I still run Shield even though I am at 60%?

You don't plan on restoring your battery? You can flash your firmware and get back to 100%

Yes, this will work even if you choose to stay at the 60% cap. If you choose to experiment further, and want to roll back to 100% the link is here.
