Greetings all,
I am a new member, and of course have many questions. I see that there are 2 methods discussed on this site, which should protect your note 7 from any update preventing it from charging. Does one method provide more protection than the other? Would it be better to utilize both of these options in order to provide your note 7 with the maximum amount of protection from unwanted "upgrades"?

Is there anyone who has installed and used both the Alliance Shield and Package Disabler Pro together in the same environment? I'm curious to know if they will work together or not.

Thanks SGN7! Just curious, I'm assuming when you say your waiting for Jan. 5th you say that because of the upcoming "Death Update". The messages I've received from Sprint specify JAN. 8TH as the day of doom. Maybe I'm missing something?

I would recommend Shield just because it seems to be the most current and most up to date solution. Also, if I read right, any needed fixes or updates would be pushed through to your device as necessary, meaning that if anything changes, you would not need to do anything like previous fixes might have required.(Someone correct me if I am wrong on that.)

Have any of you removed the other disablers after downloading the Alliance Shield? I would like to, if possible.
