Alliance, here is the deal and the steps I took to change to alliance shield from my current package disabler:
I was running a Note7 Verizon Gen 2 with EZ Disabler V2.4. Everything was working, I just didnt like how the play store wanted me to keep updating the app.. if I did, I would have been screwed, so I wanted to secure myself with an app I can trust - the Alliance Shield.
I just finished doing the change and so far so good. However, I had one hiccup... When installing the shield with EZ installed, the shield would not activate. It would let me grant admin rights, but then would never get to the main package screen to enable the protection. So I was stuck for a little. I realized in Miguelina Betty's video there was a policy notice from Knox that I never had to check so I went into EZ disabler and enabled everything Knox related, then uninstalled the alliance app, then reinstalled and started from scratch. This now allowed me into the main screen to enable the protection, however I still didnt receive that privacy notice checkbox. I then went to EZ disabler from inside my app tray and dragged it to disable.. It wouldnt let me right away because it was granted admin rights early on. I disabled admin rights, then dragged it again to disable. It then disabled. I went back to Alliance Shield, clicked "remove shield" at the bottom, then clicked the shield to re-enable the protection.
Everything seems to be working fine, but will update you if anything changes...

Is there a guide to reversing the ADB update blocker so we can install shield?

First, i would only have a package disabler if i downloaded, correct? in other words, it doesn't come pre-load on note 7.
Second,
i performed the OTA blocker with "Solid Explorer", should i just dis regard this and install the Alliance Shield?

I have been using package disabler pro since before they pushed the update to remove packages needed to block the OTA update. I also installed solid explorer and using it to block OTA update. I too am curious as to the steps needed to install Alliance Shield.
