what does Alliance Shield do to my phone? is there a list of things that disabled/remove from the phone?
why is using Alliance Shield better than disabling each packages individually using package disabler?
My phone is running package disabler and disabled necessary packages/servies.. do i still need to using the Alliance Shield? if so why?

Thanks

This is a good question. I was wondering the same thing. Is the Shield essentially just a script that does the work of disabling packages for you?

Yes, the shield is fully automated to block carrier specific packages when you enable it, rather than using adb script. It's totally your preference if you want to use the shield or continue with what you have but i recommend the shield as there is no chance of any update in which functionality is limited.

Can you please explain this a bit more. Is there no chance of any update from carrier or any update of any app in general? On top of that, looking at several package disabler post, I can never find any of the package that is linked in the post. Is shield a brute force block specific update or is it dynamic?

I had conflicting thoughts about this subject as well. But all of the important info I've read about my Note 7 came from this group, & the Facebook group that lead me here. So I'm sticking with whatever app and or blocker you guys suggest. Y'all really know y'all stuff! & I truly appreciate that!
